Protected by our patented privacy-based calendar synchronization technology (US-11461739-B2) built to meet the highest security standards.
CalendarBridge is a cloud-based service, so there’s nothing to install on any device. You don’t need a Windows PC, and unlike OGCS, it runs continuously even if all your devices are turned off.
Outlook Google Calendar Sync (OGCS) is a Windows application that you download and install on your PC. It only works while your PC is running.
CalendarBridge uses push-based syncing in both directions between Outlook and Google. CalendarBridge continuously listens for changes and syncs both Google and Outlook calendars immediately upon detecting a change. Changes typically propagate in both directions within a minute or two.
Outlook Google Calendar Sync (OGCS) offers manual sync by clicking a button or interval based syncing, with 15 minutes as the fastest interval available as of August 2025. OGCS supports push based sync for changes made in Outlook but not for changes made in Google, which means Google events synced to Outlook can be 15 minutes or more out of date.
CalendarBridge supports bi directional syncing of Google calendars, Outlook calendars, and iCloud calendars. It also supports syncing from published Internet calendars (URLs ending in .ics), allowing connections to calendar providers such as Fastmail, Proton Mail, and Zoho, as well as syncing between Google, Outlook, and iCloud calendars.
Outlook Google Calendar Sync (OGCS) supports bi directional syncing of Outlook calendars and Google calendars only.
